About
Quality Training.net

Hi and welcome to
Quality-Training.net.
Family and
friends:
My name is Hal
Major.
My wife (Ellen) and I have
been married for 41 years. We have six grandkids. A couple of
them really aren't kids anymore. They're teenagers. Oh, I
forgot! Young-adults or pre-adults. I refuse to buckle under to
the pressures of PC jargon. Old people are like that, you
know.
Career
background:
I've been a quality management
consultant for 20+ years. I started my company after an early
retirement from a Fortune 50 company. Ellen retired a few years
ago and has been after me to do the same.
Although I love my work,
especially meeting and working with new people, I decided to
start tapering-off on my work schedule. If you love what you do
for a living, it's not really work. Find something you love to
do and turn it into your job.
If you like meeting and
working with people, being a consultant and trainer is a great
job. You choose the companies you want to work with and the
type of work you want to do. If it's not your cup of tea, you
don't have to drink it.
I'm not saying being
self-employed isn't work. You'll put in more time than you did
while working for someone else. If you don't you probably won't
succeed. But, when you love what you do it doesn't seem like
work.
There is a lot of good
information here and best of all - it's free. If you click on
any of the ads or buy any of the products that are listed on
any of the web pages, I donate all of the proceeds to childrens
charities, except for just enough each month to pay for
the web site and email hosts. That's about $25.00.
Thanks for spending some time
here at Quality-Training.Net,
Hal Major
