Frequently Asked Questions 

How long is the course?

That depends on your current knowledge and study habits. You can take up to 3 months to complete the course. The course is equal to 80 hours of classroom instruction.

You also get up to 3 hours of personal coaching by email or phone, if you want it.

What are the exams like?

The exams are based on the course workbook that you get. If you study the material you should have no problem with the exams. The questions are multiple choice from the chapters in the workbook. You can answer a few questions, put it aside for awhile and do something else. Come back to it when you're ready.

The Black Belt Certification requires that a project be developed and implemented. You will get a Project Charter to complete, in addition to the exam. The project charter does not have to be work related. If you are improving your job skills outside of your current employment you can submit a project for your church, volunteer organization, civil improvement, etc.

When you finish the exam and the project charter just email them back to us. That's all there is to it.

What if I don't pass the exam or my project is rejected?

You can retake the exam as many times as you like. There is a $20.00 fee for each time you retake the exam. We will not reject any sound and reasonable project. Six Sigma is widely adaptable.

What if I have questions about something?

Again, you get 3 hours of personal coaching that's included with your enrollment. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (excluding U.S. holidays) by email. Phone support is available Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM eastern time.

The workbook is over 300 pages and very comprehensive and detailed. Case studies are included. The workbook is your's to keep. When you enroll in the course you will receive an email with your username and password to login and download the workbook. The download is in a .zip format. The actual workbook is in an Adobe PDF format.

It is highly recommended that when you enroll you use your personal email address where you can check the spam, junk or bulk folder for the email with the download information. If you use your company email address the email probably will not get to you and you can't retrieve it
